Installation and first run

Requirements​

  • On-premise Bitrix, UTF-8 site, PHP 8.1+, mbstring, DOM and MySQL.
  • The main, iblock, search, catalog and ui modules; CRM for the Bitrix24 product selector.
  • Permission to install the module, create its database tables and write its integration files to Bitrix directories.

Module tests covered PHP 8.3.6, MySQL 8, core 26.750.0, and search 24.0.0 / 25.200.0. The CRM environment used catalog 26.300.100 and crm 26.800.0. These are tested combinations, not a guarantee for every version. The module checks the classes and methods it uses before connecting.

Install​

Use 1.0.1 for a new installation: it fixes the first settings save when storefront and CRM integrations are disabled. Obtain zorka.search-1.0.1.zip from the developer, or install the solution from Marketplace if it is available for your license. A version mentioned in this guide does not by itself establish Marketplace availability.

  1. Back up site files and the database. Test on a copy of the production catalog first.
  2. Extract the archive with zorka.search directly inside /bitrix/modules/. The resulting path must be /bitrix/modules/zorka.search/, without a second nested zorka.search directory.
  3. In the Bitrix admin panel, open Marketplace → Installed solutions → zorka.search → Install and follow the wizard. This installs the copied package. If you obtained the solution through the Marketplace catalog, follow its installation wizard.
  4. Open the module settings under the product/module settings menu, or use /bitrix/admin/zorka_search.php?lang=ru.
  5. On Каталоги (Catalogs), select infoblocks and save. The search field above the list helps locate an infoblock.
  6. On Сортировка поиска (Search sorting), configure fields and matching modes, then save.
  7. On Индексация и проверка (Indexing and testing), select Всё (All), click Переиндексировать (Reindex) and wait for completion.
  8. Use Проверить выдачу (Test results) to check a product name, a code with leading zeros and a section. Then enable Поиск магазина (Storefront search) and/or Товары и категории в CRM Б24 on the Catalogs tab and save.

The Russian labels above match the module's admin interface. Do not create a second copy under /local/modules/: Bitrix may load it instead of the updated copy. If a previous installation already uses that path, first determine which copy is loaded.

The standard module-settings page is also supported: /bitrix/admin/settings.php?mid=zorka.search&lang=ru. If saving in 1.0.0 fails with Class "CCatalogSku" not found, apply the 1.0.1 fix.

Prepare infoblocks​

Enable the native index elements for search flag for products and index sections for search for categories. Infoblocks with both flags disabled are hidden from the selection list.

Related offer infoblocks are included automatically when native indexing is allowed. An offer infoblock with both flags disabled is skipped and does not prevent saving the parent catalog's settings.

A searchable product property must be active and have property values participate in search enabled. Use a string property for a code such as 000123. Rebuild the index after enabling new fields.

Verify​

Test the search results page, header autocomplete and CRM product selection if enabled. Repeat without administrator privileges: permissions are checked when results are returned. Third-party forms may use a different mechanism; see integrations.
