CDN for WordPress
Download WordPress ZIP 0.1.1 · SHA-256
Tested on WordPress 7.1.3 + WooCommerce 11.2.1 with PHP 8.3. APIs target WordPress 6+ and PHP 7.4+, but older WordPress versions and Multisite have not been separately tested.
Installation
- Complete CDN source setup.
- Open Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, choose the ZIP and activate Zorka CDN.
- Open Settings → Zorka CDN. Rewriting is disabled initially; settings labels are currently in Russian.
- Enter the CDN URL issued for this exact site. Public folders default to the site's uploads path; add only required public folders.
- Review exclusions. Keep
/wp-content/uploads/woocommerce_uploads/excluded for paid WooCommerce downloads; use the actual path for subdirectory installations. - Test an image through the CDN, enable the plugin and clear page caches.
Enter one folder per line with leading and trailing /. Settings require the WordPress manage_options capability.
Images and WooCommerce
The plugin lets WordPress calculate responsive sizes before rewriting completed src and srcset attributes. It processes post/widget images and WooCommerce gallery attributes such as data-large_image and data-thumb. The HTML processing option extends coverage to theme markup.
Admin, REST, AJAX, CLI, cron, feeds, previews and logged-in users are bypassed. Dynamic WooCommerce Blocks/REST galleries and third-party themes may need additional integration; standard image support does not cover every store component.
Updates and removal
Save settings and test updates on a copy of the site. Upload the new ZIP through WordPress and confirm replacement of the installed version. Clear page caches afterward.
Deactivation or removal stops processing while retaining options for reinstall. Media files, posts and attachment metadata are unchanged. Disable the plugin and clear HTML caches to restore original image delivery.
Shared limitations and diagnostics.
WooCommerce: 0.1.1 validation
WordPress 7.1.3 + WooCommerce 11.2.1 passed product/gallery images, responsive srcset, two variation selections, add-to-cart and a test checkout. A dedicated WooCommerce filter rewrites only image fields in page-embedded variation JSON; prices, IDs and other product data stay unchanged.
Cart, checkout, customer account, AJAX and Store API keep origin URLs. AJAX-loaded variations (for example, products with many options) retain working origin images: this limits CDN coverage. Third-party themes and galleries still require testing; compatibility with every WooCommerce extension is not claimed.
The browser test used an isolated store and a fixture CDN image response, without contacting payment providers. Test a real image using your issued site CDN URL before enabling.
